"Electricity Hai Anmol" says RODAS' Green Team on
World Earth Day
Hotel employees who are suppose to perform
various tasks related to hotel industry can be good actors
and dialogue writers. Sounds unbelievable, however, green
team members of Rodas, an ecotel hotel have actually decided
to show the city, that besides handling the intricacies of
hospitality industry, they can act as well.

The unique feature about the skit was that it was conceived,
written directed and enacted by the hotel staff.

"Electricity hai anmol" a one-act play was enacted
by the green team members on the occasion of World Earth Day.
The team performed in public at Nirmal Lifestyles, Mulund.
The idea behind the skit was to spread the awareness about
the electricity shortage and the ways to limit the use of
energy.

Says Daniel
Chatterton, leader, green team, "Since Rodas is an ecotel
hotel we have to undertake a lot of awareness campaigns. Today's
skit is also a part of series of campaigns undertaken by us.
We decided to do the skit on world earth day to create awareness
among the citizens that electricity is precious and we need
to conserve the energy."

Various other awareness campaigns undertaken by the hotel
include, Say No To Firecrackers during Diwali, Powai Lake
cleanliness drive after Ganapati immersions, Eco Holi during
the time of holi etc.
